요약 — Cuerator는 사용 기록이나 개인정보를 개발자에게 저절로 보내지 않습니다. 광고·분석·추적 도구도 없습니다. 개발자에게 무언가 가는 것은 사용자가 문제 보고를 만들어 메일로 직접 보낼 때뿐입니다. 곡·미디어·설정은 사용하시는 맥·윈도우 기기에만 저장되고, 인터넷은 아래에 적은 기능을 직접 켰을 때만 씁니다. 웹사이트에서 라이선스를 살 때 받는 정보는 4항에 따로 적었습니다.

1. 기기 안에만 저장되는 것

곡, 영상·이미지·음악, 플레이리스트, 설정, 라이선스 키는 모두 사용자의 기기에 저장됩니다 (맥: ~/Movies/Cuerator 미디어, ~/Library/Application Support/Cuerator · 윈도우: 사용자 계정 안의 Cuerator 폴더). 라이선스 확인도 인터넷 없이 기기 안에서 합니다.

설교 자막(음성 받아쓰기)은 기기에 다운로드한 음성 인식 모델(Whisper)로 기기 안에서 처리하며, 소리를 밖으로 보내지 않습니다. 인식 모델 파일은 처음 한 번 인터넷에서 다운로드합니다(아래 2항).

2. 사용자가 켤 때만 인터넷을 쓰는 기능

휴대폰 리모컨과 NDI 출력은 같은 네트워크(와이파이) 안에서만 오가며, 인터넷으로 나가지 않습니다.

체험 기간 확인 — 키 없이 쓰는 동안(30일 체험)에는 앱을 켤 때 한 번, Cuerator 활성화 서버(activate.cuerator.app)에 이 기기의 식별값(하드웨어 번호를 되돌릴 수 없게 바꾼 값)과 체험 시작일을 보냅니다. 같은 기기에서 체험이 다시 시작되지 않게 하는 데만 씁니다. 연결이 안 되면 기기 안의 기록으로 그대로 동작합니다.

체험판 알림(선택) — 홈페이지에서 체험판을 받을 때 이메일을 적으면, 받은 날부터 27일째에 체험 종료 알림을 한 번 보내고 바로 지웁니다(그 사이 라이선스를 사셨으면 보내지 않고 지웁니다). 적지 않아도 체험판은 그대로 받습니다. 하루 요청 수를 제한하려고 접속 주소(IP)를 함께 두며, 알림과 함께 지웁니다.

홈페이지 방문 통계 — cuerator.app 페이지를 열거나 체험판을 받으면 연 페이지, 들어온 곳(앞 사이트의 주소), 나라·도시(Cloudflare가 접속 주소로 알려 주는 대략의 위치), 기기 종류(맥·윈도우 등)를 남깁니다. 같은 날 같은 방문자를 한 번으로 세려고 그날만 쓰는 익명 값을 함께 두는데, 되돌려 사람이나 접속 주소(IP)를 알아낼 수 없고 날이 바뀌면 이어지지 않습니다. 접속 주소(IP)와 쿠키는 저장하지 않으며, 방문 수를 세는 데만 씁니다. 앱은 이 통계를 보내지 않습니다.

3. 구글 사용자 데이터

구글 드라이브 연결은 선택 기능입니다. 연결하면 Cuerator는 다음만 합니다.

접근하는 정보

Cuerator가 만든 파일과 폴더만 (drive.file 권한). 드라이브의 다른 파일은 보거나 읽을 수 없습니다.
연결한 구글 계정의 이메일 주소 — 어느 계정에 연결됐는지 설정 화면에 보여 주기 위해서입니다.

쓰는 곳

사용자가 고른 곡·미디어·설정을 사용자 본인의 드라이브에 올리고(백업), 다시 다운로드하고(복원), 여러 맥 사이에서 맞추는(동기화) 데만 씁니다.
광고, 분석, 인공지능 학습 등 다른 목적에는 쓰지 않습니다.

저장과 공유

로그인 토큰은 맥의 키체인에만 저장됩니다. 파일은 사용자의 구글 드라이브에 있습니다.
개발자를 포함해 누구에게도 구글 사용자 데이터를 보내거나 팔거나 공유하지 않습니다. 개발자가 운영하는 서버를 거치지 않고 맥과 구글 사이에서 직접 오갑니다.

지우는 방법

Cuerator 설정 → 백업 → 연결 해제를 누르면 맥에 저장된 토큰이 지워집니다.
구글 계정 → 보안 → 서드파티 연결에서 Cuerator의 접근 권한을 언제든 취소할 수 있습니다.
드라이브에 올라간 파일은 구글 드라이브의 Cuerator 폴더를 지우면 사라집니다.

Cuerator가 Google API로부터 받은 정보를 사용하고 다른 앱으로 옮기는 일은 Google API 서비스 사용자 데이터 정책의 제한적 사용(Limited Use) 요건을 포함해 이를 따릅니다.

4. 라이선스를 살 때 (cuerator.app/buy)

카드 번호 등 결제 정보는 결제대행사(토스페이먼츠)가 직접 받으며, 판매자는 받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 계좌이체로 낸 주문을 환불할 때 적어 주신 환불 계좌(은행·계좌번호·예금주)는 그 환불을 위해 토스페이먼츠에 넘기기만 하고 저장하지 않습니다. 교회·기관 이름은 라이선스 키 안에 들어가 앱의 '정보' 화면에 보입니다. 키를 활성화하면 활성화 서버에 라이선스 번호와 기기의 식별값(하드웨어 번호를 그대로가 아니라 바꾼 값)·기기 이름이 남습니다(2항).

받은 정보는 위 목적 밖으로 쓰지 않고, 법에 따른 요청이 아니면 다른 곳에 주지 않습니다. 자기 주문 정보를 보거나 고치거나 지우고 싶으면 아래 문의처로 알려 주십시오(법이 보존을 정한 기록은 그 기간이 지난 뒤 지웁니다).

5. 어린이

Cuerator 앱은 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다. 라이선스는 교회·기관이 사며, 만 14세 미만 어린이의 정보를 받지 않습니다.

이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 새 시행일과 함께 올립니다.

Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

Summary — Cuerator never sends usage data or personal information to its developer on its own, and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking. The developer receives something only when you make a problem report and send it by email yourself. Songs, media and settings stay on your Mac or Windows PC; the app goes online only for the features below, when you turn them on.

1. Stored only on your computer

Songs, video, images, music, playlists, settings and the licence key are stored on your computer. The licence is checked offline. Live sermon captions are recognised on your computer by a speech model (Whisper) you download once; audio never leaves the computer.

2. Features that go online when you turn them on

Google Drive backup and sync — to Google; see section 3.
Licence activation — once when a key with a Mac count is entered, and once when it is removed: the licence key, an identifier for this Mac (a one-way hash of its hardware number) and the Mac's name, sent to Cuerator's activation server (activate.cuerator.app). Used only to count how many Macs a key runs on. The app does not contact it again after that.
Update checks — a request to Cuerator's update server asking whether a newer version exists. As with any web server, the requesting IP address may be logged.
Cuebook connection — reads your service plans from the Cuebook server using the token you enter.
Caption translation (DeepL, OpenAI, Anthropic) — the sentence to translate is sent to the provider you choose, using an API key you obtained yourself. Apple Translation runs on the Mac.
Font downloads — font files are downloaded from GitHub (the Google Fonts repository).
Web page output — loads the web page you enter.
YouTube Live — while it is on, the congregation's picture and sound (input device, the app's video and music) go to YouTube with the stream key you enter.
Speech model download — once, when you press "get model" on the sermon caption card: a request for the model file to the server that hosts it (Hugging Face). That server may keep the usual web-server data such as your IP address. No songs, audio or licence information is sent. The file is checked for size and SHA-256 and then used only on your computer.
Problem report — only if you send it from your mail app: the app version, computer model and macOS or Windows version, attached displays, the last seven days of the app's log, stall and crash reports, and what you wrote. No song text, licence key, stream key or password. Used only to solve the problem and deleted afterwards.

The phone remote and NDI output stay on your local network.

Trial check — while the app runs without a key (the 30-day trial), it sends this computer's identifier (a one-way hash of its hardware number) and the trial's first day to the activation server once at launch, only so the trial does not start over on the same computer. Offline, the app goes by its own record.

Trial reminder (optional) — an e-mail address given when downloading the trial from the website is used once, on the 27th day, to say the trial is ending, and is then deleted (deleted unsent if you have bought a licence by then). The trial downloads the same without it. The requesting IP address is kept with it to limit requests per day, and deleted with it.

Website visit statistics — when a cuerator.app page is opened or the trial is downloaded, we record the page, the referring site, the country and city (Cloudflare's rough location from the connection) and the kind of device. To count a visitor once a day, an anonymous value used only for that day is kept with it; it cannot be turned back into a person or an IP address and does not carry over to the next day. No IP address or cookie is stored, and the app sends none of this.

3. Google user data

Connecting Google Drive is optional. When connected, Cuerator:

Accesses only files and folders that Cuerator itself created (the drive.file scope) — it cannot see or read any other file in your Drive — and your Google account's email address, to show which account is connected.
Uses that access only to upload the songs, media and settings you choose to your own Drive, download them again, and keep several of your Macs in step. It is not used for advertising, analytics, AI model training or any other purpose.
Stores the sign-in token only in your Mac's Keychain; the files are in your Google Drive.
Shares Google user data with no one, including the developer. Data travels directly between your Mac and Google, never through a server run by the developer, and is never sold.
Deletion: Settings → Backup → Disconnect removes the token from your Mac; you can revoke access at any time under Google Account → Security → Third-party connections; files uploaded to Drive are removed by deleting the Cuerator folder in your Drive.

Cuerator's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Buying a licence (cuerator.app/buy)

We receive the church or organisation's name, the contact's name, e-mail and (optionally) phone, the plan and amount, and the payment result (payment ID and method type) — to issue and e-mail the licence key, handle refunds and questions, and keep the transaction records Korean e-commerce law requires (5 years for contracts, cancellations and payments; 3 years for complaints and disputes), then delete them. Card details go straight to the payment processor (Toss Payments); we never receive or store them. The church's name is part of the licence key and shows in the app. Processors: Toss Payments (payment and refunds), NAVER Cloud (sending the key, refund and trial-reminder e-mails), Cloudflare (the website and the order records, on its servers in the US and elsewhere).

5. Children

The Cuerator app collects no one's personal information. Licences are bought by churches and organisations; we do not take information from children under 14.

6. Changes

Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date.
